How much do you know about this Guardian's world?
An encounter from the deck
The family loves the macaw, but it hasn't flown in years and sometimes pulls out its own feathers, a possible sign of stress. The daughter asks if it's really okay. Telling the truth can hurt; keeping quiet leaves the bird without a chance to get proper help.

The Voice from the Other Side
Brasa is just starting to live without walls when a voice comes from the other side of the river. It will take three trees, a voice that stumbles, and someone willing to answer.
